3 Must-Play ERs When You're Headed Out Of Phoenix
Updated: Dec 17, 2019
Captain Jellyfish Jane's Jar of Jellybeans
Play this game as one group or two! They have two identical games so you can race head-to-head. Inventive puzzles, good-looking set, and a talking parrot to give you hints? Check, check, and check. One of the owners told us before we played, "we don't have a hollywood budget for the set but perfecting the puzzles is free." Well, a) they were just being modest because the rooms look great and b) this is such a excellent point and something they really deliver on.
Our tickets were comped at this venue.
The Fallout Shelter
Gray Matter has two excellent escape rooms and a third one on the way that we're pumped to get back out there and play. Fallout Shelter is great for first time escapers but will also wow enthusiasts with its unique puzzles and interesting set pieces. Bonus: Their other game, The Initiation, has a customizable challenge level and includes some fun, active tasks making it perfect for bringing the kiddos along.
The J-Rome Mine
We love stopping by Constant Evolution to see what they've been up to. They live up to their name and always have something bigger and better each time drop by. The J-Rome Mine is an especially impressive set, construction-wise. This room is smaller (up to 6 people) but man does it pack a punch. They utilized their space and really outdid themselves. We can't wait to get back up there to play their newest room, Dead End.
I think I sense a road trip in your future.
